Beyond Bucks:

In our pursuit to find recreational entertainment for our children, we considered a whole new concept.  Instead of putting our money into entertainment centers that never give any of it back to us or our communities, why not create a family fun center that is supported by the community through a non profit, and the community benefits from their efforts.  They create a safe affordable recreational center that all can enjoy and their hard earned money does not get wasted.  Here's how it works:
1. Create the framework of a non profit and get required licenses, permits, forms, and  sponsors.  2.  Your community donates tax deductible time, money and resources into the non profit. 3. once enough resources are acquired to construct and open the family fun center it has a opening day.  4. the community and our organization decide on pricing, events, activities, and any other things needed for the center, together. 5. all profits made by the center go back into the community to support outreach programs except what is needed to run the center.  Every one wins and you have a fun, safe place where your children can thrive!

Finding Support and how your Community can make a difference.

In the old days community was everything, these days it seems people have gotten away from community and allowed themselves to be isolated.  It is our goal to bring community back by allowing the community to call the shots.

A community is a group of people who come together for the common good of all that are involved.  They pitch in, whether it be a little or a lot, to insure the needs of the community are met.  When a community lacks something, it's up to the community to acquire the resources needed to fill their need.  By everyone working together, a large project can become a small one.  This makes it easier to accomplish and everyone gets the satisfaction of accomplishment once completed.

Our goal is to give communities a platform where they meet the objectives of the community and enjoy the successes of their efforts.  Instead of some corporation you never knew, or business that does not have your best interest at heart, who usually only take from communities, we give communities a platform where all efforts are used for their needs and enjoyment.  Basically, what you give, we give back.

Paving the way for a brighter future

As a father of 6 children, over the years it has become increasingly expensive to have fun.  We can spend up to 1000 dollars on a single day trip.  Recently I visited a family fun center that had bowling, laser tag, arcade games, and food.  It was crowded, noisy, and not well maintained.  There was no security, the bathrooms were unpleasantly dirty, and the food tasted like cardboard.  We took our children, and the whole night cost us around 80 dollars.  I thought to myself "how terrible" There has got to be a better way? but I found most places to be the same.  My wife and I also believe in time honored traditional values as well, and it was hard to find any values at these fun centers.  The pricing was outrageously high, no organization, music did not fit everyone in the center, food was bland, and way too much overcrowding.  It seem like to me, we were not having much fun and were just wasting money.  True our children had some fun, but these places should be fun for everyone and not leave you penniless when you leave.  This started my journey in paving the path to a brighter future.  After much thought and prayer the Risen Son Christian Center was born.
